Birmingham is one of the busiest cities in the United Kingdom. It is also the second-largest city in terms of size and population, after London. The existence of several clubs, restaurants, pubs, businesses and other entertainment facilities contributes to the city’s liveliness.

Historic City Center, Birmingham

Birmingham City Hall, built in 1832, is a Victorian architectural marvel. This remarkable edifice, which resembles a Roman temple, has 40 Corinthian marble columns. In 1847, Mendelssohn gave his first public performance here. Today, its gorgeous symphony hall with world-class acoustics accommodates world-class performers on a regular basis. There are two memorials in front of the town hall, one to Queen Victoria and the other to the inventor James Watt.

St Philip’s Cathedral, Birmingham

St Philip’s Cathedral is an Anglican church that serves as the Bishop of Birmingham‘s residence. Consecrated in 1715 as a parish church, the church became a cathedral in 1905 when the diocese of Birmingham was founded. The Bern-Jones stained glass windows are a highlight of the cathedral. The church’s design was created by English architect Thomas Archer. Birmingham’s biggest attraction is St. Philip’s Cathedral.

Barber Institute of Fine Arts

The Institute of Fine Arts, located close to Birmingham University, houses a fine collection of art from the Renaissance to the twentieth century, including works by Botticelli, Bellini, Tintoretto, Rubens, Rembrandt, Watteau, Manet, Monet, Gainsborough, Constable, and Degas.

Cadbury World

Cadbury World first opened its doors on August 14, 1990. It’s a candy lover’s dream, especially if you like chocolate. Cadbury World is one of Birmingham‘s most popular attractions, with over 500,000 visitors each year. Visitors learn about the beginnings and history of Cadbury, one of the world’s leading confectionery makers, as well as the history of chocolate. A city tour is the best way to see all of Birmingham‘s attractions.

Black Country Living Museum, Dudley

Black Country” is an English black gold mining park-museum. Birmingham is 10 kilometers away from the park-museum. In the “Black Country,” you will be taken on a vivid journey through the history of coal mining; you will visit a reconstructed 18th-century mine, a network of coal-transporting tunnels, and learn about the daily lives of regular miners in the 17th and 18th centuries. The museum transports you, as if by time machine, to 19th and early 20th century England.

Old Coventry Cathedral

Old Coventry Cathedral, previously one of the greatest parish churches in England, was not constructed as a cathedral statue until 1918. However, following the terrible Blitz in 1940, only a few portions of the exterior walls and a 303-foot-high spire remain. The cross-shaped two charred beams salvaged from the rubble near the east end of the old cathedral are a painful symbol and remembrance of the tragedy.

Birmingham Sea World Center

The Birmingham Sea World Center provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness actual hammerhead sharks. A large number of sea species will be introduced to visitors (there are more than 1,000 of them). Sixty stunning marine life displays feature sea turtles, seahorses, otters, and other odd creatures. The interactive tour provides an amazing experience: you may touch enormous crabs, grasp a starfish, and smell the underwater realm using 4-D technology.
