The Allianz Arena in München-Fröttmaning specifically design to allow mobility-impaired visitors to enjoy their stay at the Arena. Building on the experience and observations of previous visitors, the Allianz Arena has become a milestone project in giving every fan the experience of a lifetime. Below you will find important information and advice on the 227 seats/places for wheelchair users and their carers designed to ensure their visit to the Allianz Arena goes smoothly. In addition, the club also offers 20 headsets providing live match commentary for the visually impaired, enabling fans to get the full match experience. Applications for tickets must submitt to the relevant clubs in advance.
INSIDE ALLIANZ ARENA
227 premium seats allocate to wheelchair users and one accompanying person/carer along the side of the Arena on the top row of the lower tier (main access level), allowing room for manoeuvring wheelchairs.
The entire Level 2 with its kiosks, facilities for the disabled and disabled toilets (only accessible with EURO disabled person WC key) is barrier-free. Designated lifts are available on the north and south sides for changing levels to other areas.
20 headsets are available for the visually impaired. Live match commentary by reporters for the visually impaired at the ground provides full information on the action on the pitch.
20 subtitle glasses are available for people with hearing disabilities. The match commentary runs as close-captioned live subtitles on augmented reality glasses. The subtitles produce in the lower section of the glasses in real time by two online captioners.

For groups guided tours for the disabled are operated on non-matchdays. Guided tours for groups must be booked in advance.
The FC Bayern Museum – Germany’s biggest club museum – is also barrier-free. Level 3 at the Allianz Arena offers a fascinating mix of information, emotion and interaction – including for disabled visitors. Entrance to, and exit from, the FC Bayern Museum is available via lifts. The entire exhibition is on one level. The design of the museum ensured all areas of the exhibition have barrier-free access. Generous provision of space and clear routing makes travelling through the history of FC Bayern Munich, from the foundation in 1900 to the historic treble in 2013, a fascinating experience for all visitors.
Severely disabled visitors may park in the designated spaces in car park P1 free of charge on matchdays, provided they are in possession of the official blue parking permit (wheelchair symbol).
This permit can only issued by district and state authorities to Munich residents identified as “strongly mobility impaired” or “blind”.
Possession of the green disability card (issued by the Zentrum Bayern Familie und Soziales – formerly the pensions office) does not entitle the holder to free parking.
130 parking spaces for disabled visitors are located on Level 3 of car park P1 (P1 is clearly signposted from the public access roads) and are the closest parking spaces to the Arena. From this point, wheelchair users have unhindered and quick access to their viewing position in the stands.
Vehicles greater than two metres in height for transporting the disabled have to park on the coach park. The parking charge is €15.
Provided it permitte by the event organiser, wheelchair users may use the designate special buses to enter the security zone via entrances S0 and S1 and travel as far as the disabled access points at staircases TK 3 and TK 7. Lifts are available here for Promenade Level E2. The special buses are available for the return journey.
Visitors who are unable to move from vehicles to their places in the stands are brought in their special vehicles to their seats from security zone E0 via the north and south lifts.
There is also unrestricted access to the stadium for all fans from the Fröttmaning underground station via the Esplanade. Visitors requiring lifts should use the access to the southern end of the platform. In contrast to the north entrance, escalators and lifts are available here.
The Fröttmaning Park and Ride facility is accessible via a pedestrian bridge. There is another lift here to the ground floor.
For health and safety reasons, access for wheelchair users only permitt for holders of special wheelchair user tickets.
